I would like to narrow down my search of the right university for me before returning to college in september.

I got ABB in my AS results so what entry requirements should i be looking at based on these grades?

Also which uni's are best for studying a law degree? Obviously i wont be applying to oxford and cambridge so recommendations within my ability would be appreciated :)

I also like the idea of a campus university so which uni's in england and wales are on a campus?

UK only please. Thanks.

  1. All unis are pretty much on campus..

I always recommend the University of London unis because they are the next best reputable unis after Oxbridge.

For Law definiely consider LSE, UCL, Kings and SOAS has a very good law dept if your interested in the international side of Law as well as the UK side.

  2. Based on your grades you will have plenty choice of university's.As far as i know most uni's are on campus.

I did law at lincoln uni, although good uni the course it self was ****, i was studying business organisations and changing economy it was really boring and would advise to chose a uni with a syllabus that u will enjoy..

If u are not bothered about leaving home, when u go to an open day get as many books as you can from different unis, the choice is urs.In that it will tell ur different requirements, and how the points system works. If you are bothered about leaving home i would not go that far, alot ppl leave uni due to home sickness, its easier if u u know u can go home and it wont cost a fortune or take all your weekend up travelling.

  3. Most universities in the UK are campus universities. As for potential entry requirements either go on your AS results or go with AAB (as you might improve one of your marks, if not both). You have very good marks already so a lot of universities will admit you if you achieve them at A2.

Have a look at as many prospectuses as you can get hold of as each university is different. Here's something to start you off with though:

The Times' Good University Guide: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/life_an...

And here's The Times' university league table: http://extras.timesonline.co.uk/tol_gug/...

Don't forget, when choosing a university, it's always a good idea to look at what each university is offering you in terms of:

    Course content

What the university is like (have you been to an open day? If not you should go)

    Social activities

Proximity to night life and pubs

    Closeness to home

    Travel links

And decide which is better for you that way.

    Hope that helps.
