I'm looking at buying a 2005 toyota echo and need some advice?

does anyone know if this car is expensive to fix? or if they have a history of being unrelaible. I'm looking at a 2005 automatic but I know nothing about echo's. Is it a decent car?

Toyota Echos are EXTREMELY reliable and very, very good on gas. You'll find it very inexpensive to drive and maintain. The only problem I have with them is that they're very simple and have very underpowered, gutless 1.5L engines. If you're looking for a good city car to take you from home to work and back, it's a good choice. But I would also suggest looking in to a Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla. They have more power and more features than the Echo.
