It depends on the type of work you are looking for.  I would start by perfoming a search around those parameters.

if looking for any work at all, I would begin by looking at what you have experience in, or think about a few things you'd be interested in doing until you find your dream job.

You should list a few places you're interested in..the Middle East is a vast place.

but sigma, haven't you heard that the construction in Dubai is ruining the ecosystem in that region. It has greater consequences that providing high end living, shopping, and tourism.

Go work in Dubai!!

Dubai is the fastest-growing city in the whole world. Job opportunities are opening there like crazy.

I am lebanese, but as they say "Lebanese people hate khalijees, but they would go work in Dubai or Saudi in a heartbeat :)"

Anyways, it is estimated that 48% of students who graduate from university after 2015, most jobs will be found in Dubai.

Otherwise, it is a beautiful, modern, and NEW city. 15 years ago, it was just desert! I live in Canada, and I wish I could travel so far to see it.

OTHER PLACES:

If you're a woman, you may not find Saudi enjoyable- there are many restrictive laws against women, and there is known sexist abuse in some parts of Saudi.

You should also consider Lebanon! They are growing economically aswell- after their recent governmental political setbacks, they are still some of the most wonderful people you will meet. You can find excellent agencies aswell.

Qatar and Bahrain are also OK for jobs, but not much room for expanse- they are small independent nations.
