I'm looking for a 1 day race car training in the Portland, OR area. Any idea?

I'm not looking for cart racing, buf not necesery an F1 cars. Something with real cars, 2-3 hours of class room theaching and the rest of the day on the field with an instructor.

  1. The resident School at PIR is Prodrive, and you should be able to find out information about their offerings from the PIR website:  http://www.portlandraceway.com/

    Though some schools do offer one day classes, none of these are "race training."  All of the classes aimed at preparing someone to pursue a competition licence will be three day classes (though you may find such classes from NASA or SCCA, but these will all involve you bringing your own racecar).  The single day classes are generally aimed at offering a slight taste of such driving, though will often include as much as 3 or 4 hours actual seat time (and I beleive Prodrive has offered these from time to time).
