It would be nice if it were a tech(if it exists) but if I can find any college that has a team in Wisconsin it would be really nice

I did look on Google and all that came up while searching that was the closest to me was all the way in MN.

  1. UW-Madison, River Falls, LaCrosse, Milwaukee,  and Eau Claire have them for sure.  A few tech schools/community colleges have them in MN, IA, and NE, but none in WI.

  2. UW River Falls.  I'm a student here majoring in equine management.  They have a western team, an english team, and they also have a rodeo team if you're into barrel racing.  The teams are great and they have a few shows at the university a few times during the year and the rest of the shows are at other universitys.

The equine riding classes are very good too.  They have a large herd of school horses that are great horses...very well trained.  They have the basic "beginner" riding course and then the advanced western and english classes.  Another great course is the Colts in Training course.  At the beginning of the semester you are assigned a 2 year old.  You train it throughout the semester and then they have a sale at the end of the semester.

Let me know if there's anything else you want to know about the college.

  3. Well, most schools in WI specialized in forestry. Did you try river falls? They seem to be an all around school. I am a student from MN that goes to WI, and the good news is, that the two states have an agreement to equal out the tuition, its reprocity (sp?) , so, its the same price for me to go to WI as it would be if I was a resident. It may not help in your search much, but now MN wont seem so bad. :)
