I have always had problems with pills that my doctors prescribe and I'm always had to take the route of asking if they make a liquid or if they make something that I can crush. Well, sometimes they don't make a certain prescription medicine in liquid or it's a time-released pill (and can't be crushed/broken up).
I know my doc is going to prescribe some medicine for me this week after my surgery and I know he's going to want me on it for a long time.
I was curious if there was any website out there that showed the different/actual sizes of different pills? I know they have sites that show you pictures of the pills, but I was hoping to find an accurate listing of how big these pills are. It's hard to know by just a picture.
PS...I'm probably going to be on some sort of PPI medicine like Prevacid, Protonix or Nexium. I know the Prevacid has a Solutab, but it's really pricey. I'm trying to get a generic and I can't take a huge pill. I literally choke on anything (even Tylenol).
