I'm looking for a bag that i can take swimming with me that won't get in the way and can keep my valuables saf

I'm about to go travelling in Australia and Thaliand for a few months.

I'm worried about what I'm going to do when I go swimming with my valuables such as phone and camera etc.

Its easy to find a waterproof pouch for them but they are all see through and not easy to carry.

I'm looking for a bag that I can put the pouch in which doesn't need to be waterproof but can get wet, will not stop me from swimming, will not look silly when I'm just in shorts and most importantly is secure enough that people won't be able to take stuff from it with out me noticing!

You could buy a sports bag, as those are generally pretty secure and water probably won't be able to get in it. If you want it even more secure, you could always get a lock and lock the zips closed.

You could always buy a bag that you can fasten a lock to or one that already is lockable. Just don't lose the key.

There is no safe way but to keep a constant eye on them . Leave anything valuable in a hotel locker with the reception. No matter how safe looking your bag is , that is no guarantee. I have known of people who work in groups . they walk along the back of the beach waiting for someone to enter the water then walk to that persons bag and pick it up as if it is their own and this happens constantly so be aware .
