I'm looking for a board like the al merrick flyer 2, that doesnt cost as much?

im 5'7" and 140lbs i want a board that can get speed on the smaller things but will have alot of float ,also will let me do some hard turns I was looking at the ci flyer2 but its 600+$ so any other suggestions? thanks

Try a surf shop! Don't waste your time in a bathing suit store that sells surfboards. (and usually only high priced BIG name surfboards at that). Try a real local surf shop and talk to the surfers who work there. I'm sure somebody will steer you toward a good affordable stick. There are lots of good local shapers out there building quality boards. You will only find them in a surf shop, not on the Internet. Good luck.
