It's about this girl with really cury hair who lives with her mentally retarded mom and her neighbor who has a fear of going outside. She comes into their apartment through a sealed door in her closet and takes care of them. One day the girl with the girly hair finds a camera and gets the filmed developed thatwas inside and find a sign of a place her mother had been and wats to check it out and maybe find out who her dad is. She ends up going by herself and while she is gone she meets a girl on the bus who gives her a perfume breath mint thing. She then meets this family after she finds out about her mom's past and stays with them and her mother eventually dies while she is away.
