I'd like to go camping but I don't have a tent or 4WD. does anyone know of a camping ground with ready set-up tents, campfires and some basic amenities? I want to do proper camping, not a caravan park or a camping resort with a coffee shop or bar in it. If it were near a body of water for canoeing it'd be ideal.

  1. There's no such area near Brisbane. If you don't have your own tent, then you have to rent a cabin which is not what you want to do. Sorry, but you're asking for the impossible.

  2. hey there,

teres no such places that have a tent and things set up for you. I go camping all the time and never heard of such a thing. You must by your own camping gear. When you do have your own camping gear check out this site, there's heaps to do around here although I think inskip point out near fraser island is awsome place to camp. You don't need your 4wd abd you can do up a camp fire and your on the beach which hasnt really any waves due to in ebing in a bay and canoeing is great there, you can canoe to fraser island if your any good. Also has toilet facilities and a take away shop about 15 mins down the road. But it is packed on public holiday.

Here's the site and have fun
