  1. Let her go sit in them, my 3 oldest kids never ended up with what they thought they wanted.. :)  have to be a good fit, right?

Anything 4 years old with low miles will be a good bargain and still have plenty of use to it.

  2. hondas on craigslist.com

  3. Buy a new or used Kia or Hyundai(Hyundai makes Kia). They have a great warranty and they are great cars. I have own 2 Elantras and think they are great. The other nice thing is if they brake down they have roadside assistance(even on the used ones). The 07 Elantra that I have now even has curtain side air bags. I do not think that I would get the older style Elantras, because there side impact was not the greatest.

  4. Let her go with you...

I drive a 1999 Saturn SL1. It's a smaller car, but it's a sedan (4 doors). I am tall (5'11) but I can comfortably fit in it to drive, although the backseat is a little cramped (I have the seat all the way back). It's a great little car that gets great gas mileage (I get 28 mpg city, 35 mpg highway) and I really like it. It's really reliable and I got it for $2000, and it's in great shape.

If she would like a somewhat "sportier" car, have her check out a Saturn SC (Sport Coupe), it's a 2 door that's a bit on the sportier side.  Or, try a Chevrolet Cavalier or Pontiac Sunfire, or even an older Chevrolet Malibu or Oldsmobile Alero. You could get any fairly cheap and all are VERY reliable. The Malibu is kind of plain but a good starter car, and the Alero is a bit fancier but still cheap if you buy a used one (the last Alero was built in April 2004 in my hometown).

  5. Well if your daughter is a toddler or a preschooler then she doesn't need a car.  She needs a car seat.

  6. How about a Sun Fire or a Cavalier. That is what my grand children are driving. They both seem to be good used cars

  7. maybe a honda like coupe or some thing

  8. Best to let your daughter help you look.  I'm sure she has some definite ideas of the kind of car she would like.  Find a reputable used car dealer and talk with them -- if you have an idea of what kind of car you want and how much money you want to spend, then they can probably find it for you.

  9. Try going to a car auction. Your sure to be able to find a good cheap car there for way less than what you would pay at the dealership.

  10. dodge neons you can find for a good price and they a cheap to fix if anything does go wrong. i had a neon as my first car and it was a really cute girl car! now if that drunk driving jerk hadn't hit it she would still be mine :(

  11. skip cheap and go with economical and safe.  visit your local auto mall for ideas.
