I'm looking for a cheap digital video camera. Any suggestions?

I'd just like to know if there are any problems with some cameras and windows vista? I want to be able to upload footage onto my computer and edit it in windows movie maker. That's all the camera really needs to do. So if anyone knows of a digital video camera that can handle that, doesn't need to be too high-tech, please let me know, thankyou!

well it pedpends on what you are looking for. if you are looking for something that is easy to use and that you can do youtube videos and stuff or if you just want somnething to toy around with. If so You might be interested in some like a mini DV camcorder.. they record video onto a memory card such as a SD card or a memory stick pro duo.

If you are looking for something that you want to you to make home video's, i would suggest getting a camcorde3r thta can record onto a mini dvd or a regular dvd. word of cautiuon these camcorder can cost up to $1200 :( but they work great for home videos or for trips fro memorablilia. Sony is a great brand to look into for a dvd camcorder or high end mini dv camcorder. or if you are on the cheaper side i would look into samsung mini dv camcorders. they are small and light and very portable. they will even fit in you pocket!!!
