I'm looking for a decorative perennial protector/fence type thing...does this exist?

For individual plants, so I don't have to use chicken wire. Something small to go around a few prized plants. Any ideas? The rabbits are eating everything and I need to fight back!

Thank you.

  1. Red pepper powder, reapplied frequently, especially after wind or rain.

  2. Your probably not going to find something other than netting to keep the bunnies out. Try a spray of cayenne pepper and garlic w/water and spray the plants.....won't hurt them and one taste and Peter Rabbit will run away.

Works for cats, squirrels...sometimes the pooch too!

Will need to be applied after a heavy rain.

  3. If you plant "Barberry Bushes around your garden" that should be a protective hedge for your plants.  They are thorny hedges, they need to be trimmed once ever two months only after they start to thrive.  They are nice green bushes and the rabbits do not like them.
