  1. Surething. Just to warn you, journal subscriptions are pretty expensive - I'm a graduate student in anthropology and I don't subscribe to any at all. Also - not to imply anything about your intelligence - the materials that you'll find in professional and academic journals will probably be difficult for the average high schooler. Many of the articles in forensics and physical anthropology journals are going to be very technical and difficult for even many college students. So, if you're seriously interested in looking into these publications, the first thing I'd suggest you try is a visit to your local community college's or university's library instead of subscribing to one.

Current Anthropology is a popular and less specialized journal in anthropology. Cultural Anthropology doesn't have as much impact in the field, but it provides a mixture of fresh voices and more senior authorities and they generally cover pretty hot topics. Forensic anthropology journals are more specialized and so you won't find them in every library. You could find a number of forensic articles in the American Journal of Physical Anthropology, which covers a broad range of physical anthropology topics (i.e., human evolution, anatomy, forensics, some medical stuff, genetics). The most popular journal devoted to forensics *I think* is the Journal of Forensic Sciences, but it'll be more difficult to locate.
