  1. all american barrel is pretty nice. around $40. its a two piece so easier to clean. also pretty accurate. i have a dye ultralite for $100. its not worth it because its about the same quality as the all american barrel its also heavier.

  2. A Palmers Brass Barrel has a unique bore to fit and accurately shoot differently sized paintballs:

(not longer than 16", porting not needed on a tippmann, .690 bore)

An Apex tip can extend range but the farther you shoot, the less accurate the shot will be and the more likely the paintball is to bounce due to the slower speed.

  3. Hammerhead debuted a new barrel they manufactured, in coorporation with Tippmann Sports, in June of this year at Oklahoma D-Day "The World's Largest Paintball Game".

The Hammerhead StraightLine barrel is a five piece kit; 3 backs, a shaft, and a tip.  The StraightLine uses helix and spiral rifling, in combination with reverse porting, to control ball rotation and minimize the pressure wave and air turbulence at the muzzle – resulting in significantly straighter, more accurate shots.

I tried the barrel as a loaner (for my A-5) and was very impressed. Only comes in A-5 and X-7 threads, but you could use a adapter.  The barrel retails for @ $150.

  4. Get a 2-piece 14 inch proto barrel they aare supper accuret
