It really depends on what you're needing. What discipline, breed, age, height, training, etc. As it sounds like you are new to horses, you should probably look into taking lessons at  a good barn for a while to get an idea of what you're wanting and what you can handle. Then you'll also have the help of your trainer to find you a good match.
