I'm looking for a laptop under 500$?

I DO NOT care about the model.

I accept deals and sales.

Here are my specs:

minimum 1gig of RAM,

120 gig harddirve,

and a dual core processor thats runs 1.8 gigahertz or more.

Check the reviews on cnet. There are a whole bunch for under 500 bucks there. Check also pricewatch. There is a bunch on pricewatch.

One thing to remember when buying a laptop is .. if you are going to run windows  you will need more memory then processor (cpu) power. Windows is memory intensive.

Also, Consider running xp with sp3  unless you have 4 gigs of memory or more. Vista is much more of a memory hog then xp. It also has lots of memory leaks that are still being patched.

Dell usually has pretty good deals and you should check out the referb section.  They are just as good as the new, just a few blemishes.  To be honest, you probably will not find a new computer with decent specs at that price.
