I'm trying out for Best of Broadway at a local drama club, and I need to sing a really fitting song.

I have kind of, a lower pitched voice. But it isn't real low, it's kind of in the middle.

Anything?

BESIDES

  2. What about "But Not For Me"; its Gershwin :) I know it was in Crazy for You.

  3. How about 'I'd Give My Life For You' from Miss Saigon?

'The Worst Pies In London' from Sweeney Todd?

Quite of lot of people will probably sing songs from Wicked, Les Mis etc. so it might be a good idea to sing one from a less well-known musical =) Best of luck with the audition! x

  4. Do not do so much better because you have to hold a really long note at the end and it's a pretty hard song to do.

    I would recommend:

    1. Home from Beauty and the Beast-great for an alto

    2. Castle on a Cloud-Les Miserables

    3. Part of Your World- Little Mermaid

    4. A section of What You Want- Legally Blonde

I am a professional actress so I can tell you that the best song to do for you would probably be Home.

    Hope that helps!
