  1. Hola!  I'm going to recommend the Riu Palace in Cabo San Lucas.  They are offering air/one week packages for $899.

  2. viva mexico

  3. take a cruise....

  4. Don't go to a Riu! They are not as nice as they look.

I would definetely recommend Cancun for a honeymoon over ANY other place in Mexico. Now, those $2000 are for the airfare and the hotel or just for the hotel? You don't mention the date but for less than 2000 per couple per week you can go in low season to a very nice all inclusive like the Palace Resorts (www.palaceresorts.com)

  5. If you want your budget to stretch further you might want to check out Manzanillo, Huatulco, Puerto Vallarta, Acapulco as possible destinations.  Cancun is generally more expensive though there are good deals there too, especially partially all-inclusive (breakfast buffet included).

  6. Try the website funjet.com.

When looking for honeymoon destinations for myself and my hubby I was told about this website by a co-worker. When I looked...i loved what I saw. I have not used anything I found on there because most of the destinations have airline and my hubby WILL NOT fly. But I do know that I looked at Cozumel and Cancun and found alot of deals which included airfare, hotel stay, shuttle from airport to resort and back, and it included all meals and drinks(alcohol and non-alcohol) that are consumed on the resort. Some were under $2000 which is determined by the number of days chosen to stay and the hotel chosen. Although I can't give feedback about how my stay worked...unfortunately...my co-worker has used it several times over several years and him and his wife love the trips they book from this site and will not travel any other way.

  7. we loved gran bahia in montego bay, jamaica.  they usually run great specials.  we took six people at christmas last year for under $1000 per person.  it's a great five star hotel, good food, good service, and unbelievable people.  it you want to shop for the best deals, use bookit.com or cheapcaribbean.com.  we have used both companies and gotten great service and deals.

we just got back from blue bay esmeralda in playa del carmen.  we enjoyed it, too.  it was a more spa like atmosphere.  blue bay had the best food of any resort that we have ever been to.  you will need to upgrade to the front of the hotel.  they are also running specials on bookit.  i shop those websites religiously.  we try to do 2 -3 all inclusives every year.  it's the only way.
