Could you give me a good list of some of them in the Denver Jeferson county region? Pizza also prefered.

  1. I've located a local list of restaurants that might help. You can drill down the Colorado results by cities close to you. If you visit several of the restaurants you can narrow down wich one would work best for you. http://www.restaurantreviewsratings.com/...

  2. Pagliacci's

    1440 W 33rd Ave

    Denver, CO 80211

    Phone: (303) 458-0530

    Patsy's Inn

    3651 Navajo St

    Denver, CO 80211

    (303) 477-8910

  3. Patsy's is definitely the place to go for Italian.

Pizza. First, anyone who say's Beau Jo's doesn't like pizza, it's right on the cusp of inedible and you get more crust than pizza (I'm not kidding).

My favorite pizza is Big Bills in Centennial, at County Line and Holly (that's pretty far South/East of Jeffco).  A lot of people really like Anthony's Pizza (all over the place), but I think it's more about big slices than deliciousness.

  4. Abrusci's Italian Restaurant in Wheat Ridge has been a favorite for our family gatherings. They are located at 3244 Youngfield Street.

Other possibles might be Romano's in Littleton at 5666 S Windermere or Santeramos Pizza & Italian Restaurant at 8410 Wadsworth in Arvada.

    Enjoy!

Someone above said Beau Jo's for pizza.  The original location in Idaho Springs is great and the pizza is awesome, but it isn't authentic Italian.  It's a unique beast of it's own.  I'm from NY and I have a hard time finding pizza I really like but I'd suggest Aurelio's.  Johnny's NY Pizza in Lakewood is okay, but they never put enough cheese on and I've had some issues with their customer service.  But the pizza isn't bad and the garlic knots are very good.

  6. The absolute best calamari is in Idaho Springs CO at Mangia! They have food that is to die for. So very worth the drive.

In Jeff county try Abrusci's Italian Restaurant Just gets better every time I go. 3244 Youngfield St, Wheat Ridge, CO

For Pizza, Beau Jos in Idaho Springs of course. The Mountain Pie is a Colorado tradition
