  1. You probably won't find it on the internet. You will have to go IN PERSON to the county courthouse and check with the clerk who will then drag out HUGE books for you to pour through... Not EVERYTHING is on the internet... some things you have to do in person... and this is one of them

If you know what county they were married in try searching for the county courthouse first, then go to the circuit clerk info.  You can also try Ancestry.com but you have to pay for that and somebody else has to have already entered the info. I know for sure South Carolina and Nevada has their marriage records online so I'd try the courthouse first.

    You have already been given the best site for your search. I think that  www.ancestry.co.uk is probably the best site there is for such information and you can use the pay per view vouchers now. Their records date from 31st July 1837 when civil registration became mandatory  here in the UK,  up until 1983, then from 1984 - 31st  December 2005 1984-2005 being computerised there aren't any indice for these records.
