I'm looking for a small metal circle clasp that opens and closes, and I don't even know what it's called.

I need to purchase about 50-100 of these clasps that are the same diameter as a standard keyring, but rather than spreading the overlapping metal circle apart to fit a key in, you spread it apart and it opens right up. It has a tiny hinge on one end and the circle meets on the opposite side. When you pull it apart, it resembles an uppercase, elongated C.

Do you know what this is called, and more importantly, do you know where to purchase them?

  1. Try B & Q - they probably won't know what it's called either but at least you will come away with something you don't need !

  2. Try your local locksmith shop. I use them all the time and thats where I buy mine

  3. Try hobby lobby or michaels. They are called key rings with easy open safety latch.
