i've done some shopping around for a good tv. but whenever i find one online it sells out and it never comes back into stock. i found a nice poloriod at walmart and target and within two days they sold out and its been a month and they're not back in stock. i'm wondering if it will ever come back into stock. is there like a time of the year when electronics companies renew their stock or something. i'd appreciate any help on the issue.

  1. visio...just buy it online.

  2. I don't know how much you're gonna spend but here you go..

    Half Hd

    Full Hd

  3. Caveat emptor! Stay away from Polaroid and the other third tier "junk" TVs, like Vizio, Westinghouse, Element, Insignia, Ilo, and the rest of the "new names" in TV that you have never heard of before, or only in the last couple of years, or brand names you usually associate with cameras or cheap electronics. They are all a disaster waiting to happen. Anyone who recommends one automatically shows he/she doesn't know anything about today's TV technology!

You don't give size or budget, so that makes it difficult to make a recommendation. The only LCD I've ever seen at Walmart that isn't junk is a cheap model of Sony. Try to stay with Sony, Panasonic, Toshiba, or Sharp. In the long run, it's better to get a good quality 26" than a substandard 37". And read this link! http://www.hdguru.com/your-new-disposabl...

And Nitro, after you read the link, please stop recommending cheap c**p like Element to others.

  4. If you have one Walmart in your area, there must be more. You could call the other stores within driving distance and ask them to check their stock. But WM often buys large lots of discontinued models and sells them at great prices, so once they're gone you may never see them again.

Westinghouse LCDs are pretty good quality at a good price too, you might look into them. The next big holiday is Memorial Day, there might be some good sales then, don't forget to keep an eye on the Sunday circulars for Office Depot, Staples, Best Buy, etc.

By the way, the Sony/Panny/Tosh fanboy below obviously doesn't know that 90% of all LCDs are manufactured by one of 3-4 LCD manufacturers. So the Westinghouse, Vizio, Poloroid, and other brands he trashes (obviously based only on price and brand snobbery) are likely made by one of the same panel manufacturers as the popular brands he mentions.

  5. You can buy a LCD TV is Very cheap from this site

  6. it depends on price and size of room. i would recommend this tv. i am getting it in a couple of months.
