  1. As a teacher and a parent, I would recommend that you check with the State Board of Education about having your daughter set up with a computer and internet in your home so that she can attend an on-line public school.  Did you know that you can attend public school over the internet, and that it is all paid for by public tax money.  In the end, many children are much happier with this idea, and do better in school when they can do their homework on the computer.  They get more personal attention from their teachers in an on-line school.  They don't get into problems over behavior in an online school.  You can check on their grades and see their work before they turn it in.  If they flunk a test, no problem, they e-mail their teacher that they have went back over the material, and they can retake it.  They have educational games with different levels, to help them master basic skills in a fun way.  They can adjust her work to suit her skill level.  They can assign her a LIFT teacher that will help her with difficult assignments.  A lot of children do better in an online public school, and it's FREE so you have nothing to lose.  It might even be something that meets your needs on a more permanent basis.  My daughter is attending an online school in Ohio.  She attends ECOT, but each state generally has several to choose from, and your daughter would definitely qualify to attend for free.

  2. You could hire a private tutor or take her to Sylvan or Huntington Learning center.

  3. I would take a look at Time4Learning:
