  1. Don&#039;t do it; you get what you pay for. I&#039;ve heard a cheap 8-inch in-ceiling sub and was not impressed at all. My neighbor bought an RBH SI-12 ( http://www.rbhsound.com/si12.shtml ), and it rocks!
