I'm a big weirdo so I may not be the best choice but... If you want to see a comedy, I suggest Super Hero movie or Meet The Spartans, they are funny and classic. But if you want sci fi then Star Wars is like the best choice. For a horror movie, The reping or Dead Silence will have you parinoid for weeks and for an adventure I'd say Indiana Jones.

It's my favorite movie, a classic

"Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back"  (Classic Kevin Smith comedy, with cameos by everyone from George Carlin to Carrie Fischer to Chris Rock).

"Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang"  (Great Hollywood murder mystery, starring Val Kilmer and Robert Downey Jr.  If you like smart, cynical humor, this movie is for you)

"Lone Star State of Mind" (I don't even know what 'teen angst' show all of these characters were on, but it's a great cast.  Action/hijinx movie about a guy who get wrapped up in some strange stuff as he's trying to leave town. )
