I'm looking for cheap homecoming dresses.?

Question

I am tan, dark blond hair, and I am about 5'5" and my body type is athletic. My mum does not want really tight short dresses, so I am needing help. Please send me links of any good places. I have basicially looked everywhere but cant find anything.

I would try looking for local consignment shops. Many people sell their high school prom/homecoming gowns after graduating. They usually only take gowns that are either in style or classic, so you wouldn't have to worry about them being from the 80s.

If you don't mind vintage then you could also try thrift stores like Salvation Army, Goodwill, King's Ranch, etc.

You can look up all of these places on yellowpages.com.

Check your local neighborhood for RESALE SHOPS. You can often find a worn 'only once' bargain.

Lots of ppl have old prom dresses or bridesmaid dresses that sit in there closet and they want to get rid of so try to get a comittee together and do some ads or w.e. and collect as many dresses as you can find and give them to anyone who would like to wear them and then have them donate them back- Its a great way to reuse dresses and its a great way to show leadership and stuff for a college app. - GOOD LUCK- if you google it others have done it and it may give you some good tips on getting it started
