  1. 400+ is way too fancy for a dorm.   And at your age, you can't tell the difference.   Try a high 200's threadcounts.    If you want something nice, go to linen & things, Bed bath beyond and department stores.    Jersey sheets I personally dont like, and is only used in winter/cold weather..      You can also try Ross, Marshalls for bargain name brands.   Again, you want minimum 220 or more.   A high 200s would be better.

  2. Target has a whole line of Back to School/ Dorm Room bedding that includes twin XL sheets.  They are usually on a special display though and not down the aisles with the regular sheets.  Often times they are on the endcaps.  If you particular Target store for some reason doesn't carry them they do offer them through the website.  Just search for twin XL sheets on the website and it will bring up a whole page of them.

  3. Yes, the higher the thread count, the nicer the sheets. I had good luck getting them at JC Pennys. They had a good variety and were on sale this time of year. Good luck!

  4. Check out www.dormbuys.com.  They have a line called Bramer Hall that are both 300 and 400 thread count.  The price is awesome for the quality.  They have everything for a dorm you could think of over there, but definitely look into the Bramer Hall Sheets.

    Check that out.

The best part is that its divided into sections of your room. Eat, Sleep, decorate, shower, etc.

this is the best place to go so you should check it out.
