I'm looking for fun straight bars that are 18 and up that are fun on Thursday nights in Cincinnati?

I have some friends coming into town from Florida and one of them is 20, otherwise we were going to go to Kentucky (Mainstrausse, etc). Does anyone have ideas for places that are fun on Thursday nights that allow 18 and up? (Obviously they would have to be in Ohio)

There arent a ton of them.  There is Metropolis in the old Forest Fair Mall.  It wont be real crowded on a Thursday, but there will be some people there.

If you are willing to go a little further afield, then another way to go would be to head out to Oxford.  The bars there cater to college students, pretty much exclusively, and they all are fun, and allow 18+ in.  Its summer, so they wont be real crowded, but the people that will be there will be a lot of fun.

Lastly- you could go to a place that is a restaurant and flips over to being a bar later in the evening.  Usually they allow underagers in, since its a restaurant.  A few places like this, that I think you would be OK in- Hoffbrau Haus at Newport on the Levee or Brazenhead Pub on Tylersville Rd in West Chester (its a fun place), or the Fox and Hound at Deerfield Towne Center.
