Question:

I'm looking for ideas for poolside activities for children to young to go into the pool?

*I'm going to be having a pool party with many people (over 100)

*There are going to be different games and competitions for the older kids and parents

*The younger kids (~3 to 6) will not be going in the pool but I want them to still be included

*Any ideas for things they can do outside the pool, possibly present a cheer or something to the older kids and parents

thanks for any help you can give :)

  1. maybe they would like to do a puppet show or something. i think they should be able to go into the pool as long as their parent is w/ them. maybe have a smaller pool blown up for them to play in. but i dont really see 5 or 6 year olds wanting to be "in the baby pool". they could do jump ropes, play w/ chalk, twister...

  2. Water ballons , water guns and watrer relay races.

  3. They can play with a sprinkler, water balloons, stick their feet in the water, trow diving toys in the water for the kinds that are in the water, play with dolls or other things. I hope this helped! Have fun at the party!

  4. SET UP A KIDDIE POOL  10  OR 15 FEET FROM THE POOL AND ONE OF THOSE LAWN SPRINKLERS THAT GOES BACK AND FORTH (NOT IN CIRCLES) NEAR IT SO THAT THE SPRINKLER  SPRINKLES IN THE POOL INTERMITTENTLY. AND LET THEM RUN AROUND  UNDER THE SPRINKLER  LET 'EM THINK IT'S BETTER THAN THE "BIG POOL" BECAUSE THEY GET A SPRINKLE TOO...THEY WON'T THINK THEY ARE MISSING OUT !!

  5. you ca always order a moon bounce or you can go to target or wall mart and there are tikes( water brand for toys ect.) and they have like those huge blow up slides that are like 30 ft or so tall and you can also get the slip in slide. there are many things you can do.
