I have a nokia cell phone with a bluetooth headset - I'm constantly on the move and hate being tied to my desk for tel conversations. Speaker phones are ok, but generally not great. So what I'm looking for is the same sort of thing as the cell phone - Speaker phone / hands free / cordless / Headset Cordless - so I can always be on the move - What are these phones called and can anyone suggest web sites, best make (panasonic, Seimens..??) etc. I live in Cape Town, South Africa so relevant sites would be really appreciated. Many thanks all and hoping you can point me in the right direction. Cheers.

  1. Check out this place: http://www.digitaldealz.net

They have a huge variety of phones.

I have dealt with them for business and personal use, in either case it has always been a great outcome.

BTW, plantronics makes what you are looking for, and digitaldealz.net has it.

  2. Many cordless phones have a phone jack in them that you can attach a wired headset.    Not a big problem if your cordless has a belt clip like mine does.     That's the cheapest solution.

Check your cordless phone for a jack and buy a headset unit for $15 USD and your set to go.

Here are some wired and wireless options

  3. I think this is what you need...! you just carry the phone around like a cellphone!

  4. Plantronics makes cordless headsets for home use.  They connect to your corded phone to provide hands free away-from-the-desk accessibility.

  5. Uniden makes them....its a bluetooth flip-phone!
