  1. This is not exactly what you are going to want to hear but it will give you some info in what and when you can do.

In MD an adoptee is not considered an adult until the age of 21.  So even if she requested info to search for her family, she would be denied until then.  Here is a link that explains MD's laws regarding adoption reunion and who can request information.

    http://laws.adoption.com/statutes/maryla...

If you have her actual DOB or even month and year you can search and post information on as many adoption registries that you can find.  I would also recommend registering with ISRR.net

    Some registries online are:

    registry.adoption.com

    g's adoption registry

also look for MD specific sites.

    Good luck in your search

  2. You need to find out who took care of the adoption and the exact date of her birth as well as the name of the hospital.......contact the adoption agency they should contact your sister then the rest is up to her......My story is quite different my sister was born in 1961 even though my mom went on to have 5 more children including myself my sister that i was raised with well we never got along. I now live next door to my sister that was adopted.......It is so awesome knowing her and having a relationship with my sister she always wanted a sister too and felt that was missing from her life. She has 2 brothers that she is very close to but there is nothing like a sister! I wish you the best of luck!!

  3. YOU CAN PROBABLY GOOGLE IT AND THAT SUCKS I WISH I COULD HELP MORE BUT UMM U SHOULD PUT THE PICTURE.

  4. search on google adoption places and try to go to as many and ask for youre sis or get an adopting thing atorney that may help u

  5. google it

  6. Google for Adoption Registries and register with as many of them as you can find.

Your family could also talk to the agency or attorney that facilitated the adoption to see what information you can find.

You might be able to contact your state's Vital Records to see about getting a copy of an adoption decree.

Your family could also contact a private investigator to see if some information can be found.
