  1. The great majority of college dance programs focus on modern dance, so you have quite a number to choose from. Most of those will at least offer jazz as an elective, but if you're looking for it to be offered as a concentration, some of the most well known triple-emphasis programs are:

    Point Park University

    University of the Arts

    Marymount Manhattan

    University of Arizona

    Southern Methodist University

Since you didn't ask about a strong ballet emphasis, other good programs with modern and jazz are:

    Chapman University

    Western Michigan University

Meanwhile, Oklahoma City University focuses on jazz, tap and musical theatre dance.

Be sure to get hold of the print edition of the Dance Magazine College Guide to review all your options:

  3. ooohhh how about UNCG they are very good in modern it is there specialty. my sister goes there and she loves the dance department. it is the university of north carolina in greensboro. so obviously its in greensboro north carolina.
