I'm looking for reputable wholesae dealers online where I can purchase items to sell on ebay.?

So, I'm trying to make a little extra cash on ebay. I've sold a lot of my things on there but now I'm looking to expand. I'm hoping someone out there can recommend a few online dealers that sell things like jewelry in bulk or at wholesale prices. I would like sites that I can trust. Also, can anyone who has had success on ebay recommend some items that sell very well. Maybe earrings? Thanks to everyone who answers. :)

If the products you plan on selling have enormous competition on Ebay chances are it will be very hard to compete. Apply for a business license and tax id with your city and find a true wholesale source that doesn't wholesale to the public.

I have had much success on eBay.  I have completed over 250,000 transactions in the 10 years that I have been selling.

As you probably know since you have been selling some items from around your house that almost anything will sell on eBay.  The first thing you will want to figure out is what niche you want to sell in.  It sounds like you are wanting to sell something in the jewelry category.  There are many niches within the jewelry category and I challenge you to try to narrow down what you want to sell...  Watches, Precious Metals & Stones, Charms, Costume Jewelry, etc.

First of all I want to caution you on all the wholesale directories out there.  I am guessing since you are looking for someone reputable you have tried a few of the so-called wholesale directories.  There is really only one reputable wholesale directory out there and that is World Wide Brands (http://www.worldwidebrands.com)  It does have a price tag on it, but it is worth the price.

If you are not wanting to spend money on this information, one good place to look is Liquidation.com.  They do have some brand new closeout jewelry lots they offer.
