I'm looking for ski/snowboard goggles. If I buy one with a "mirrored" lens does that mean...?

Does that mean the person looking at me can't see my eyes?

All they see is their reflection?

I'm looking at one by Spy Optics, I want one where they can't see my eyes. So I should purchased one with a "mirrored" lens right?

THANKS

  1. All answers are true, but mirrored lenses also make it really hard to see if its snowing or if there's not a lot of light.

It causes a super flat light situation that can be weird if your not used to it.  I have mirrored goggles, but I've gotten used to them and it doesnt bug me too much anymore.

  2. with mirrored lens in your goggles people will not be able to see your eyes but that is not the true use of them. their true use is to reflect the light away most goggles darken the sun mirrored reflcts them away so they are for suny sunny days

  3. Also when you buy new goggles make sure they're air tight everywhere. Last year I bought a pair and they got misty between the 2 lenses after a few minutes of boarding. No chance of cleaning off the condense :(

  4. I have seen a blog just recently with all kinds of great snowboarding items like clothing, boots, and gear I also seen free video on there too for skiing and snow boarding it's a must see site just look around it's mixed in all the posts you'll see it it's enlarged text for the free videos, and regional conditions
