I'm looking for some good ways to give some of my free time back to the community.?

What would be some effective ways to give to the community, like on a Saturday afternoon?

Volunteer at local hospital, read to kids at the public library, animal shelters,  help someone get ready for their GED through the local program, volunteer to help at the local senior center with some activity.

You could start by picking up trash along your community roadways.

Paint the walls that have graffiti on them. if you live in LA your Helpful job will never end. i agree with the 1st girl thought

volunteer at the animal shelter. Walk dogs, cuddle the cats. They're lonely and you'll never have a more grateful recepient

Your community food bank probably needs help more people are coming for food now that prices are getting higher.
