I'm looking for something fun in Toronto on New Years Eve- any suggestions?

Since we all have different definitions of fun---something more on the sophisticated side of fun instead of the hyper side of fun. Perhaps a good restaurant with a new years eve dinner package? a good hotel.... maybe a play or musical. just something nice and romantic for my husband and me.

I know you are saying TO, but maybe check out the magic show (LasVegas Style) in Niagara Falls. You can get a dinner/show pkg and hotel for around $150 pp. cdn. Or try the harbour cruise if they still run. It was a great time when I went.

If you both appreciate good food then try East Indian restaurant BRAR. BRAR has many locations and the best one is on Dixie rd. north of Steels.They cater variety of tasty,healthy foods.Their deserts,ice-creams and fruit dishes are fantastic. All you can eat unlimited for only $15. Reservation is desirable at this time of the year. If you are looking for a romantic place with average quality food then CN Tower restaurant on top of the world is good too.Another suggestion is 4 or 5 star hotel looking over the Niagara Falls.Stay overnight. Goodluck and rekindle your flame again.

I think that a restaurant is a really good idea. You can have a nice dinner and most restaurants on new year's eve offer something extra afterwards. Either dancing or a live band or something. You can check out http://www.menupalace.com/menupalace/est...
