I'm looking for stories about PAPR usage - that is Powered Air Purifying Respirators?

I've used air-supplying respirators (SCBA) and many types of air-purifying respirators, but never PAPR.  In any case where I could have used PAPR, I've used SCBA instead.

I have never had (or even seen first-hand) any respirator problems -- other than people mis-using dust masks, etc.  What I mean to say is that I've never seen anyone suffer any long-term health effects from respirator misuse or malfunction.
