I think you need an 'invitation' to shop at Samco but not at Mico.  I'm not sure where the invitation comes from except that some charity groups give them out because they can put their names in to get a cut of what you spend on their day.  If you need to stay in Toronto (the Mico is in Markham) you could probably phone them to find out, or sometimes you can just walk in anyway.  If you put your name in once, they'll send you the paper every Christmas.  Its near the Queen Streetcar line near Dufferin.
