The first was male, born 2-20-68 in Portland, Or and the second was female born 7-21-69 in Eugene, Or. If you know anyone who has these birthdays and was adopted, I would like to let them know that I love them and hope they have had a good life...they also have two sisters. Leanne

  1. I agree with the first answer.  Contact the agency that was used and leave all of your pertinent information so that if your children ever look for you, the information will be available.

    Good luck to you.

  2. I ran a search on registry.adoption.com and had no luck with your son, but I did find a girl born on that day in Eugene.  Is your maiden name Marshall?

Anyway, you should talk to the agency.  Even if the adoption is closed, you can add your contact information to the adoption file, and when your son/daughter looks at it, they can call you.

  3. Oregon has a confidential intermediary program that the birth parent can use to initiate contact with the adoptee.  Here is a link that explains Oregon's laws and who to contact regarding the state run registry and the CI program.

    Good luck!
