I'm looking for ways to move my stuff interstate from Mackay QLD to Glen Innes NSW?

I don't have a lot of stuff to move, not nearly enough to warrant getting a removalist, but maybe a four or five boxes and a hundred kilos? maybe half that again? What's the best way to move my stuff to Glen Innes and still be cost effective

* when you drive down take it will you in your car or even hire a trailer.

* find out how much it wuold be to send each box through australia post. Their website actually has how much it would cost for different size packages to different places in oz.

* use a backloading company. what this means is a big semi trailer that drives through can make some extra cash when it's loads not full. You just throw the stuff in the empty or only half full trailer and they take if down for some cash. Super cheap for whole removals but not sure about a few boxes.

* apart from those there's always an add in the mackay paper for some extra money for someone to take a few boxes with them when they travel downsouth. Not heaps safe but super super cheap. Advertise in backpacker hostels too as they always need some extra cash but only even pay a bit up front and most when they drop off.
