I'd like to stick to around $300 or so. I looked at the Raleigh 2.0 and 4.0, but I just don't know enough about bikes to know if I'm getting a decent quality bike. And I can't be spending $500+ on one either sadly. Mainly what I would be using it for is some light trail riding and road riding. No hardcore mountain biking or anything on that level. Thank you for any help.

  1. a raleigh 2.0 or 4.0 is good.i raleigh m20 and personally thinking, the bike that im using is great.it has a great front suspension.it is adjustable and very soft.i bought it at sgd 260.not bad for this price.aluminium body and is light.hope you will try this bike out.anyway, the m20 and mojave 2.0 is the same.

  2. giants are the best bikes in the world. you can get a cool giant rincon for $300 en ebay and it will last you a lifetime.

  3. A reputable bike shop should be able to hook you up with something that will work, Trek, Giant, Raleigh, Kona, and Cannondale are all good companies and should have something to offer in the price range you are looking at.
