Here is what I want:

1) no more than $5000

2) excellent reliability according to msn autos, edmunds, kbb, or any other big reliability rating company.

3) 4 to 5 star crash test for both front and side impact.

4) no side airbags produced befor 2002.

5) good fuel economy.

6) no less than 150 horse power.

I found out that 1998 nissan maximan and 2000 ford crown victoria fit this criteria can you guys suggest anything else.

  1. The best two cars on the market today are the Toyota camry and the honda. I like the honda civic and toy. corolla because of the gas mileage. Honda accord is good too but I perfer the civic.  Even if you buy either with 100K miles on it it will last for another 150K miles as long as timing belt is changed, oil changed regularly, and you don't abuse it.  Good Luck

  2. Buy a saturn or Hyundai Sonata, 2002 should work in your price range, and you wont have to buy a car with 100k miles on it

  3. my friend just purchased a used audi a4 for about 5k at a car auction. I know theyre reliable nice cars, not to expensive, decently fast, okay on gas, and good crash rating so maybe you should check out a car like that. It handles pretty well too.
