I'm a junior in highschool and just moved into the ghetto and I just want to know good online site so I can get a diploma and so forth.

I would like to know some of these topics:

What highschool sites are the best (easiest) and pros and cons.

Also I want to know how long it would take to complete a couse (how many hours a day and how many days.)

Another thing is how much money am I looking to spend or if it is even nessesary to spend money.

If you can talk about your expierience with online highschool homeschooling - maybe email me.

Any other advise you think would be hepful would be greatly aprecisted.

  1. I go to

    www.themorningstaracademy.org

It's an online 'private' school, which is accredited, and it tells you what classes you have to take, etc, in order to graduate.

It has a long list of wonderful classes!

I don't mind being homeschooled, or, doing it online. I am not unsocial, i have a job, and i participate in sports, so it's not like i don't have 'any friends'. My dad didn't want me to go to public school because he knew the only reason i wanted to go was for the 'friends' part, not the school part.

I must say, looking back on it, i am really happy he made me stay at home because the class options are a lot better and i am able to get a lot more done. I've been going to the school since 8th grade, and I am finishing up grade 12 right now.

  2. Well, I'm homeschooled....And I persoanlly dislike it....I've lost all my friends, and lost the social outings....Pretty much everything....

It is alot easier, I'll tell you that, but....I wouldn't suggest it though....But some people love it! Everyone's different....

    Here's a few websites....

    http://www.connectionsacademy.com/

    http://www.k12.com/

Connections Academy was really easy, I regret switching from it....

Also most schools, you don't have to pay for, unless it's private....

And for me usually it takes around 4 hours if I take my time....I can do it in alot less time, but I slack off and stay on myspace, lol....It usually doesn't take that long....

I've been homeschooled since the 5th grade....

If you have any more questions email me at....

    maxprado415@yahoo.com

    All my best!

    =)

    Good luck!

  4. for accredited top ten online schools, visit:

    http://www.aboutonlinedegrees.org/

the one thing which is most imprtant and i find challangin is to establish the accreditation of the online school. This may care away many online scholars....this is made easy on this site because there are ways to check the accreditation of the school you plan to join, mentioned here at  http://www.aboutonlinedegrees.org/

you will also find the best ten accredited online schools here...

    best of luck :)
