The best quality t.v's I've seen around are Samsung and Philips. They are both good in quality and picture so I think you're making a good choice if you go for Samsung plus 40ins is a good size, not too big or small.

yeah i would get it but i would also suggest a Sony as they as great quality TVs and they have a very nice picture. but if its that Samsung you are after it is a very nice TV and if u can afford it i would get it.
