I'm looking to buy a Vintage Guitar. Where should I look?

I haven't decided on what to get... a Les Paul or maybe a Gibson... I need some advice on Vintage Guitars as well as a good selection... and of course good prices.. Where should I look?

go to Denmark street in London, it's a street full of vintage guitar shops, they let you try them out through different amps, this'll give you some idea of what guitar you want
