I'm looking to buy a car?

I'm a college student with alittle bit of money, and today I was searching through cars and I saw a 1984 jaguar xj6 for $2,500 which is well under the NADA price. The guy says it runs great and since I only need a car to drive around town during the summer. At school I don't have a car because insurance is like 3 times as much. So If I could get some input from car enthusiasts and Jag owners who know something about fixing them that would be great. The question though is should I get it?

  1. unless your daddys bill gates you better find a toyota or  honda, there very good cars and great on gas. now back to the jag, lmfao.... nickel and dime is not the word for it. that car will 100 and 500 dollar you to death, the sellers not doin you no favors at a cheap price, he's trying to unload it, if it was worth the book price , believe me , he would ask it.... good luck
