What do you suggest I take a look at? I'm looking for a system with good sub and at least 4 satellite speakers. Trying to stay under $150. Also I want the system to work well with my xbox 360 and movies I watch. Any possibly systems would be great. Thanks

  1. sorry dude there is nothing worth your hard earned money under 150 bucks

  2. Try the major electronics retailers such as Best Buy, Sears, Circuit City or the internet. Many times they have a clearance section or a "last years model" area and u can get major brands like Sony or Toshiba very reasonable. Also look for refurbished units-don't laugh they come with a full warranty and are completely checked out before they can be sold.

  3. Yeah your not gonna get a system like that for 150. If you want a great home theater system best is Bose. But price is high roughly about $3000.

  4. My advice is just to save up and build your system.  This may not be the help you were looking for but I promise, the end result will be worth the wait.

The theater in a box sets that are usually OVER $150 will just cause headaches.  You'll end up like so many other people asking questions on how to connect them to other components.  We'll only be able to tell you sorry, you're out of luck.

If you don't want to blow $2k or $3k, look for a decent package by Onkyo.  Every once in a while, you can find a 700 watt Onkyo 7.1 system for $700-$800.

If you insist on finding something now, find a system that doesn't function as a DVD player as well.
