    they are outragously priced new, just my opinion though...

    I would agree with the first post, start lurking on criagslist, keep checking as this is the season to sell your boat! They will be moving fast--find what you are willing to spend and go from there.

  3. see if you have a bass pro shop / tracker marine near you... they have a good entry level boat for first timers.... good luck

  4. Keep an eye on craigslist. Lots of boats being sold there used. I think it is an excellent way to get into boating from an entry level. Just do your research and ask around, get on some fishing or boating sites and talk to people....
