ok so my uni is a bit S****y, so i can't be choosy. in order to be eligible for a scholarship, i have to choose a 'strategic partner uni' for my degree - education. and the range is not exactly extensive! ok so my choices are;

Purdue university (looks pretty good actually!)

University of Illinois at Urbana - Champaign

or any of the California State Uni's.

as i'm from australia, i have no idea which uni is good or bad in the states, so i'm after a bit of advice!

  1. All three choices are of good quality. But Purdue, in general, would have the edge in terms of prestige. I'd pick either Purdue or U Illinois, but Purdue would be my preference.

  3. Go with Purdue University.  It has a pretty good reputation.  If you need statistical advice go to

  4. I think it depends on what you're looking for! Purdue has a great academic reputation here. Both Purdue and U of Illinois are close to Chicago, which is a fun city, but the weather is cold and snowy Nov-March and it can be difficult to get to and from the city without a car. Being that you're from Australia, you might like the temperate climate of Cali better.

    Best of luck with your study abroad experience. I'm an American considering study abroad in Australia, so I could use your advice, too. Take care! :)
